Cedar Creek Stone

Cedar Creek Stone offers the varying sandstones of Arizona in 20 different thin-veneer looks, from ledge stones to cobbles to rock walls. All Cedar Creek thin veneers are 3/4” – 1 1/2” thick and are available in both flats and corners. Flats currently ship in crates containing 120 ft², while corners come in 100 linear feett. The company expects to offer 10 ft² handipacks shortly. Other thin-veneer accessories include sills and hearthstones.

East West Stone
East West offers imported pre-cut and assembled ready-to-install thin veneer components that measure approximately 6” X 24” X 1/2”-3/4” and weigh 10 lbs. The company’s pre-assembled panels come in three distinct looks: Classic Ledge, a refined, stacked-stone look; Natural Ledge, a rustic, stacked appearance; and Contemporary, with a precise beveled edge. Evans offers a wide range of landscape stones from company-owned quarries in southern Ohio, as well as from quarries in Indiana, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. All of the company’s thin-veneer products are cut at its own facility; along with its standard selection of products, Evans is willing to cut special orders on request. Flats are sold in 8 ft² pallets and corners in boxes of 6 linear feet. Halquist Stone Co.
Halquist Stone began selling stone in 1929 with a single curbing quarry; today, the company has quarries in Wisconsin, Michigan and Arizona, and offers its products, including its Thinstone™ thin veneer, including its Ideal Blend, through a nationwide channel of distributors. Available in heights of 2 1/4”, 5” and 7 3/4” (larger available on request) in lengths from 8”-48”, Ideal Blend is also available as a full veneer.

Hedberg Landscape & Masonry Supplies offers Norstone Rock Panels, handmade from selected pieces of cut natural stone. Each panel is 6” tall and 24” wide and is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. The dry-stack design comes in four color blends: Ochre, Charcoal, White Quartz and Ivory. Hedberg also features cut stone for hearths and mantles, wall- and pillar-caps and special projects.

Kettle Valley Stone offers four different natural-stone veneers, available in both full and chopped stone. Mankato Kasota Stone Inc.
Mankato Kasota and its dolomitic limestone have been part of the country’s hardscape since the 1880s. The stone, quarried in southern Minnesota, is similar to the dolomitic limestones from the Carrara region of Italy in terms of appearance, strength and abrasion resistance. Meshoppen Stone Inc. has been a quarrier, producer and distributor of natural-stone products for more than 50 years. Meshoppen’s thin veneer products are designed for non-structural facing, and can be applied on wood or masonry surfaces. Plymouth Quarries Inc.
After more than nine decades of quarrying and selling natural stone, Plymouth Quarries Inc. added thin-veneer natural stone to its product line, including 15 thin-veneer stones from its own quarries. The company generally stocks close to 30 different thin veneer stones at any one time, including products from Rolling Rock and Connecticut Stone. Rolling Rock Building Stone Inc.
Rolling Rock is now offering its RealStone Veneer™ brand nationally. Quarried in New York and Pennsylvania, the stones are particularly popular within a 500-mile radius of the company’s headquarters, making it an excellent green product. The Core Series incorporates 15 different types of stone sorted by thickness with natural self corners; the Platinum Series includes 10 different types of stone sawn to thickness, with cut corner pieces. Both have a thickness of no more than 1 1/2” and are shippable.
