QuarryCut Thin Stone is one of the first factories east of the Mississippi to start sawing thin-veneer stone; all products are cut to be 1”-1 1/2” in thickness. Stones are available in a range of colors and blends, including brown, gray and plum, in both irregular fieldstones and sawn shapes. QuarryCut saws both 90° and 135° corners, and has display racks available for stone retailers.
Plymouth Quarries Inc.
After more than nine decades of quarrying and selling natural stone, Plymouth Quarries Inc. added thin-veneer natural stone to its product line, including 15 thin-veneer stones from its own quarries. The company generally stocks close to 30 different thin veneer stones at any one time, including products from Rolling Rock and Connecticut Stone. The company also offers full veneers, landscape stone and interior stone, with an emphasis on fireplaces.

Rolling Rock is now offering its RealStone Veneer™ brand nationally. Quarried in New York and Pennsylvania, the stones are particularly popular within a 500-mile radius of the company’s headquarters, making it an excellent green product. The Core Series incorporates 15 different types of stone sorted by thickness with natural self corners; the Platinum Series includes 10 different types of stone sawn to thickness, with cut corner pieces. Both have a thickness of no more than 1 1/2” and are shippable.

Over the past 22 years, Scott Stone Inc. has grown to be one of the largest suppliers of natural stone in the Southeast, including a line of more than a dozen different selections of natural-stone thin veneer in sizes from 1”-2 1/2” suitable for interior or exterior use. Siloam Stone Inc., a family-run operation, offers products from a 640-acre quarry of Dakota Formation sandstone in southeastern Colorado, marketed under the name Sienna Buff.
