LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- When hardscape designers and contractors gather here in late October for Hardscape North America (Hardscape NA), the emphasis will be on education, products … and fun.

Leading off the education part of the show, which will be held Oct. 20-23 at the Kentucky Exposition Center, are eight conference sessions feature the industry’s most sought-after presenters and speakers.

Additionally, six live hardscape demonstrations are scheduled for the HNA Outdoor Arena. And, a separate dealer education program is scheduled for Wed., Oct. 21, with four focus areas: marketing, sales, human resources and education.

If competition is your thing, there’s plenty of that, starting with the third annual HNA North America Installer Championship, featuring top hardscape contracts competing against each other to determine the best in the industry.

It’s a different type of competition that will be recognized with the HNA Awards Recognition Reception on Thurs., Oct. 22. A cocktail reception will honor the 2015 HNA Award winners selected for their outstanding projects in both residential and commercial applications.

And, if you’re looking for a little fun, don’t forget three free concerns that will rock the Nissan Commercial Stage at Fourth Street Live that Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. Performers range from Grand Funk Railroad to Kellie Pickler.
